Research shows that play is a crucial part of a child’s development. Play helps boost a child’s fine and gross motor skills, cognition, and imagination. The Star City Reads toy collection gives families the opportunity to check out toys that support these skills. Each toy also comes with a related book. Toys are available at the Main Library only, but can be returned to any library in the RVL consortium.
